Career
Two decades of operations work, in three parts.
- 2004 to 2014 CenturyLink, Area Plant Manager.Ten years in telecommunications, leading fiber network builds and Lean projects in complex telecommunications systems.
- 2014 to 2019 Pierce County Elections Supervisor.Modernized the tabulation system. Led the accountability initiatives that earned the office two Clearie Awards for elections efficiency.
- 2019 to 2024 Independent consultant.Subject matter expert on the Washington Secretary of State's Election Certification Board. Partnered on VoteWA system improvements. Interim Elections Manager for Clallam and Cowlitz counties during the 2020 presidential election. Consulted with voting-equipment vendors on compliance.
- 2024 to present Lightcurve, Network Operations Supervisor.Back in telecommunications, leading network operations for twenty-four-hour critical systems.
