The Cascade Party of Washington is an independent state party building a political home for Washingtonians tired of the partisan extremes. Damon serves on its board.
Pierce County elections staff and elections workers do hard, deadline-driven work, much of it under collective bargaining. Inside the Auditor's Office, I worked alongside represented staff every day. In telecommunications I have led teams in the same model. I welcome conversations with locals and central labor councils about what working people need from a county Auditor.
